N1 WI

We're the Islington Women's Institute, with an average age in our late twenties/early thirties. We meet once a month, on the last Tuesday of the month, at St. James' Hall, N1 8PF, on the corner of Prebend St. and Packington St. but check on the website before attending.

N1WI was established in October 2006, by a group of young women in the Islington area who were keen to learn new skills and have fun with similarly-minded people!

We've got over 110 members now, and a relatively long waiting list. However, visitors are very welcome, at a cost of £5 each, and can visit two times each.

From September 2008, membership will be £29 per year, which gets you into the 11 monthly meetings for free, and the monthly 'WI Life' delivered to your door. Without doubt, £29 to join one of the hippest clubs in London is the deal of the century!
