With all of our New Year's Resolutions now well and truly behind us we can this month enjoy picking up some top tips on how to ice those tastiest of treats – cup cakes!
N1WI will be welcoming the lovely Michelle from the Lavender Bakery who will be advising us on the best way to make our cakes look fab for any occasion... yum!
We will be learning to ice them beautifully with the most basic kitchen equipment, so you can take the skills that you learn home.
As you can imagine this will be a very 'hands on' session with members being split off into smaller groups so we can chat as we ice!
Michelle will be doing small demonstrations for each group and then strolling around and giving helpful advice on making our cakes look scrummy.
She will be providing everyone with a small cake to ice so don’t worry about bringing your own - but if you aren't planning on scoffing yours as soon as its finished don’t forget to bring a container to take it home in!
The Lavender Bakery believes that cakes should "look beautiful and taste amazing" so this looks set to be a session not to be missed.
See you there!
I took some photos on the night - you can see the blog post here - glad you enjoyed it!
